What makes a pair of glasses good enough...?

  • Finally, an accurate prescription is the keystone that holds it all together.  This is one area where we do it the old-fashioned way--by hand.  No technology or machine has yet replaced the art of a fine, handcrafted refraction.  There's a little bit of magic that happens when the lenses are spinning and the Doctor wants to know, repeatedly, "which is better, one or two?"  Don't worry, we won't let you give us the wrong answer!

Frames
 
All current frames offered at SouthWest Vision carry a no-fault 2 year warranty against breakage.  We don't cover loss, but we can replace a frame in any condition as long as you can bring in the pieces.  We carry the finest European and Japanese manufactured frames available.
 
In a world where almost all manufacturing is moving to Asia and that old world craftsmanship is an endangered species, we go out of our way to ensure we are buying frames that are still made to last and be trouble free.  We would love to sell you frames every year, but we hope any pair you buy from us are capable of lasting a lifetime.  We feel that your new frame purchases should be to refresh your style, not to replace a disappointing frame that fell apart or wouldn't hold its' adjustment.

Lenses

Most of the lens options we sell are packaged to give you the best combination of features for a price that is better than a la carte'.  Nearly every lens we sell is coated with an anti-glare coating that you are guaranteed to love and is warrantied for 2 years or life against scratching or failure.  They are finished at one of two very exclusive labs that we feel are the finest in the nation.  The lens treatments we recommend take extra time--most lenses take 5 to 10 business days.  While we can get emergency same day or overnight service on some lenses, we feel the quality and benefits of the coatings we use are SO worth the wait!!
